Day 23 – 13th gig – Hamtorkrug, Neuss, Germany

Seeing as we were already in the town of tonights gig we were treated to a rare, much-needed lazy start to the day.  :o)

When we arrived at the gig venue we were greeted with a poster displaying two wonderful words…

Inside, we found a traditional bar/pub decorated with many posters and artefacts, some of which represented both former East and West Germany.  Among the decorations was “Ampelmann” – a familiar sight at pedestrian crossings in the former Eastern part of Berlin.  Here he’d been retired from road-traffic duties, and had found himself a job as a toilet attendant…

It was a great gig and a nice relaxing day.  What more could we wish for?
