Our last gig was in a beautiful modern theatre on what appeared to be a college campus.
All the staff were really, really friendly and helpful.
Both Stuart and myself were SO excited about this being our last gig.
I can’t believe that we’ve actually been away for over 6 weeks! Thinking back to our first gig, it just seems like such a long, long time ago.
We were both buzzing with excitement all night. During the start of Trilogy I let my mind wander onto what Carl was playing and the melody just went out of my head! Ah well, I quickly recovered and made sure that, even though I was swimming in a sea of different emotions about this being our last gig, I didn’t let that happen again!
After the gig we packed up for the very last time and said goodbye to Joe and Kate, as they were staying at a different hotel tonight.
We then drove to Demoine airport with Harry and checked into our hotel.
We arrived at the hotel at about 11.30 pm. I had a LOAD of packing to do so I started that when I got to my room – managed to get finished and into bed at 2am and set my alarm for 4am so I could get up for our 4.30 lobby call.
