It turns out that tomorrow is the 50th Anniversary of ELP’s Isle of Wight Festival show – the performance that catapulted them on to the world’s stage. I thought it would be cool to celebrate that with a livestream, so I’m moving this weekend’s stream to Saturday.
Joining us will be special guests who were at the festival and also witnessed the band’s very first performance – their warm up show for the Isle of Wight.
We’ll also be watching the documentary, ‘The Birth of a Band’, which includes their full Isle of Wight performance as well as interviews from the band.
